Before your arrival at LEM, you must :
- fill in the following la fiche signalétique at least 2 weeks before your arrival and send it by e-mail to rh-umr5557@univ-lyon1.fr and to à edwige.martin@.univ-lyon1.fr. This document triggers access authorisation.
- read the document  Safety Training Book (Doc2) ; this document contains a great deal of safety information and it is essential that you read it.

As soon as you start work in the laboratory, you will be invited to a safety inspection, which is compulsory before you start handling anything. This visit will be organised by your supervisor or by the prevention assistant in the building where you will be working (for Master 2 trainees arriving at the beginning of January). At the end of the visit, you will be asked to complete the following documents, possibly with the help of your supervisor, and these documents are to be returned to the building's prevention assistant:
- document (Doc3) Fiche accueil sécurité
- document (Doc4) Fiche d'analyse de risque
- For staff with a grant or employed by the UCBL, also fill in the document (Doc5) Fiche exposition
and you will need to take the NEO-CNRS distance learning course (the prevention assistant will explain how to access this course).

If you are joining the laboratory as a trainee, you must have drawn up a training agreement with your home university beforehand. If you are a student at the University of Lyon 1, you must use the ELIPSE interface to request an internship agreement: https://elipse.univ-lyon1.fr/ Please don't leave it to the last minute, as it can take several weeks to publish the agreements and obtain all the signatures.
