The LEM's research activities are supported by several collections of microorganisms resulting from our work and our expertise activities:

- Microbiology Environment Biological Resource Center Lyon (CRB-EML  NFS96-900)

CRB is an integral part of the French Network of Microorganism Biological Resource Centers (FBRCMi): https://brclims.pasteur.fr/brcWeb/souche/recherche. By selecting the "EML" collection in the catalog on this site, you can access and order the many isolates (mainly from the genera Aeromonas, Gordonia, Nocardia and the species Burkholderia cenocepacia, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa).

The CRB is attached to the PARMIC technical platform and carries out all the following tasks:

• Durability of microorganism collections -> Cryo-conservation at -80°C (3 batches) on two Lyon I storage sites
• Easy access to strains according to the distribution authorizations granted by their owners -> collection and distribution
• Management of information concerning this heritage (CRB LIMS system)
• Protection of the rights of discoverers/inventors/owners (in compliance with the Nagoya protocol).

- French Nocardiosis Observatory (OFN)

-The National Reference Laboratory for Escherichia coli

including Shiga like-toxin (STEC)-producing Escherichia coli, which can be found in food.
