Opportunistic Pathogenic Bacteria and Environment - BPOE

BPOE_General

The originality of the team's research derives from the integration of societal (urbanization, behaviors) and environmental dimensions in the understanding of factors leading to opportunistic infections and epidemic outbreaks.

Our work focuses on issues of invasion and expology, leading us to study the species of opportunistic pathogenic bacteria (OPB) as a function of practices (urban, agricultural) or environmental filters favoring their dissemination and/or the colonization of certain individuals (e.g. cystic fibrosis sufferers, children and the elderly).
